
| RFID Tribe - How to Write an Article or White Paper RFID Tribe benefits when members with unique expertise contribute to the Tribe. Members write articles and white papers that are published through RFID Tribe. RFID Tribe members read the articles and benefit from each member's unique contribution. By placing contact information at the end each articles, the article's author benefits by receiving feedback from RFID Tribe members who read the author's article. Guidelines for writing an article published through RFID Tribe and read by RFID Tribe members. Articles should be in the 500 - 1,200 word count range. White papers may be longer. Articles and white papers should be of general interest to the specified audience (RFID Tribe, RFID special interest groups or RFID industry players). Article should include at least one (preferably more) quoted source. This should be an expert in a given area or a witness to an event. Quoted source should not be author (self). Article should be fact-based with independently verifiable facts (who, what, when, where, why, quantities). Editorial opinion pieces do not qualify as an article or white paper. Articles should have original or new information. Articles should not be re-caps or summaries of existing writing from industry publications, news articles and other media. If the article includes information from media sources, the information source should be referenced in the article. No self promotion. The author should have a brief, simple "Contact the author" section located at the article's end. Articles are sent to RFID Tribe members via email.
